Every Day is an Adventure

What we don't have in material items, we more than make up for in the beauty that surrounds us.

I try to venture out on mini adventures around the Bay Area with my Blueberry girl at least once a week.

And while the costs of living here are challenging, every day has the potential for a little bit of holiday in it, even if it's just the commute to work over the Golden Gate Bridge (that goes double if it's sunset!)

Who needs square footage when you have this in your backyard?

At the foot of the bridge that stretches across the Pacific toward the lighthouse

Feet firmly planted...in the ancient lighthouse on the edge of  a cliff

Point Bonita Lighthouse

View from inside- maybe it's just me, but don't you think it would be amazing to live in a lighthouse?!

Semi-Secret Surf Town

In between work days, we took a drive to our semi-secret (locals take the signs down) surf town getaway.

And even got to stay longer than anticipated when a fallen power line (!) blocked the only road in and out of town.

No complaints.
Cheers to Spring!

Lately

After an almost non -existent winter rainy season, enjoying what feels like a perpetual Spring.
